Welcome to Sea Winds, New Polzeath
A recently renovated five bedroom family holiday home just a few minutes walk from Polzeath Beach
"Home from Home" in New Polzeath
Sea Winds is one of the original houses in New Polzeath, recently extensively refurbished and extended to provide a characterful family holiday home just a few minutes walk up from the sweeping expanse of Polzeath Beach and a stone's throw from the stunning Cornish coastal path.
A quiet garden and private parking combine to make this an attractive base from which to explore and enjoy all the beach and sporting activities for which the North Cornish Coast is famous.
Location
Polzeath Beach is one of the finest surfing beaches on the North Cornish Coast, whose huge expanse of sand (at low tide) provides superb scope for sand construction projects and rockpool marine exploration.
The coastal path takes you one way to Rock (for golf at St Enodoc or sailing/ water skiing and the ferry to Padstow) via the family/ dog friendly beach at Daymer Bay. The other direction takes you to the scenic headlands at the Rumps, enchanting Lundy Bay and Port Isaac (Port Wenn in the Doc Martin TV series), all worth a visit. Beyond are rugged Trebarwith Strand and "Arthurian" Tintagel. Further afield are the stacked rocks of Roughtor or the National Trust landmark property at Lanhydrock and so much more.
Five minutes walk from the house is the Atlantic House Hotel, with unrivalled beach views and an excellent bar and brasserie. Polzeath itself, (15 minutes walk across the beach or a short drive) offers a late night "Spar", several beach(wear) shops and decent eateries. The bigger supermarkets are in Wadebridge (7 miles away).
